Dennis Shattuck

Dennis Shattuck was born in south Florida, living close to the beach.  Art was the biggest part of his life since elementary school.  At age 14 he painted murals on walls in homes as an after-school and weekend job.  This became a full-time job in later years.

Eventually he encouraged his clients to have murals painted on large canvases instead of on walls.  The canvas work became smaller every year, finally settling on a standard size of 24 X 36 inches.

Today, as he did as a muralist, Dennis paints on commission for his clients from their memories of places, or people from old photographs.

All images are available both as an individual 6" X 8" ceramic tile, 8" X 10" ceramic tile, and as a 6 tile mural (12" X 18" )
